They show their love in different ways and Ansel gets to show Daniel everything that he missed out on with his previous mate. They are such different men in regards to personality, experience, family, age but they come to care for each other very quickly. Before Todd and Lewis, no penguin or polar bear shifter had become mates before but now there is hope and it is the sweetest thing as they try and learn each other's traditions so that they can make each other proud and happy when it comes to their own species but also so that they're not missing out on anything they may have gotten with a differnt partner. There is a strong attraction between them from the start and neither the age gap, their different species or that their both omegas stop them being together. We met Ansel and Daniel in book one, Ansel is Todd's best friend and Daniel is Lewis's father. If you are thinking about reading this story do it most definitely you won’t regret it.Īn Egg for Ansel is the second book in this sweet shifter series from Amy Bellows. It was hands down my favorite story so far. Miscarriages being close to my heart it was beautifully spoken about with lots of compassion from the author on such a heartbreaking subject. It had me in tears at points when they spoke about miscarriage and rainbow babies. The lengths that they will go to for one another is just so beautiful and heartwarming. I love that In this story none of that matter not age or sex or species love is love in any shape or form and the connection between these two is just amazing. We first meet Ansel and Daniel in Lewis and Todd’s Story and I’m so glad we get to see quite a bit of them again in this one as Ansel and Todd navigate their way though not only Omega Omega relationship but also penguin/ polar bear are completely different cultures. I don’t have words eloquent enough to do this story justice but I’ll try my best. This story as per usual didn’t disappoint. From the writing style to the main MC’s Amy has a way with words. Let me start by saying Amy Bellows is definitely my go to if I want something that I know I can gobble up in a matter of hours.
